Font: Balcanica (modern sans-serif Cyrillic)

"Balcanica" is a Cyrillic font with a decidedly modern look especially popular in Bulgaria, Macedonia, and now also in Russia. (Latin characters are also included.) Weights: regular, bold, italic, bolditalic. Unicode OpenType PS and TrueType.

While the uppercase charactes are comparable to other sans-serif Cyrillic fonts (like our Ladoga Pro), the lowercase characters feature a different design. Some design elements stem from upright Latin fonts (see the ascender of the "k"), some characters use "italic" forms (like g, d, p, t).
